Officially founded in 2025, Dandelion Studio has been in the making for over a two decades.
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion and Marketing in 1996 and went on to work in the fashion industry in London and Hong Kong. Life then took me in many different directions, but after years of collecting vintage fabrics, it feels like the right moment to return to creating.
I work from my studio on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, designing and creating with an emphasis on a thoughtful approach to making and wearing fashion.
My work is grounded in a commitment to sustainability and individuality. Dandelion Studio uses pre-loved and vintage materials alongside mindful production practices to reduce environmental impact, reimagining vintage textiles as modern garments and accessories.
I offer hands-on workshops in pattern making and garment construction, supporting both beginners and experienced makers to develop skills, confidence, and creativity.
These hands-on workshops are designed to slow fashion down, helping beginners and experienced makers develop practical skills, confidence, and a deeper connection to the process and joy of garment making.
